Wow.. time flies!!

So, it has been forever since I have had time to get on this site.  I have lots to update on!

Here is what we have been up to:

We have had a couple of great trips and I will put up pics soon.  Jon and I went to New York and it was awesome!  Last month we went to Vegas to hang with the Favorites and Jeremy and Steph and had a wonderful trip.  Next we went camping at McKinney State park in Austin.  The dogs loved it!!

We found out that Kim is having a GIRL! I am so excited about it and I am planning a “sprinkle” baby shower for her in Aug.  Ya, I did not know what a “sprinkle” shower was before last week… learn something new everyday

Jon started working part-time at Grace Fellowship and we are really enjoying the services there.  We have been praying to find a church home and believe we have found it with God’s guidance

Kelli and Daniel got engaged.  Kelli had her ring ceremony and will be graduating next summer.  We are all very proud of her.

Brit made awesome grades this past semester and is doing great in the rodeos.  Keep it up!!

The dogs are doing great! Norman got his hair cut really funny last month.. He has a lion’s tail now… Jon is not too fond of it… Allie is so sweet and loves to go on walks… They are the best!

FRIENDS+LIVE MUSIC=FUN TIMES!

Jon and I went to Austin to join in on all the fun that SXSW has to offer.  Tuesday Jon practiced with Valerie Davis’s band and I got some girl time  Nicole and Callie picked me up from Path Salon and the fun times began.  We did the normal girl thing- talked, had a martini (or two), and talked some more.  Wednesday Jon and I went to the Band Boot Camp and hung out all day at Speakeasy’s.  It was such a beautiful day in Austin!!  Les and Nicole met me for dinner at some cute Mexican Food restaurant and Les had to go to work. That night we watch Valerie, Jon and Ryan play.  They Rocked.  We had such an awesome time in Austin with my best friends.  I truly am blessed to have such awesome girls in my life!

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

Jon and I try to make it to the HLSR each year. This year we had tickets to see Brad Paisley. He put on an awesome show and I was surprised to realize I knew almost all of his songs. I was also surprised to learn that he plays lead guitar…
