Possible Names

Jon and I have been throwing a couple of names around but nothing set in stone just yet.

First names:

Wyatt   (means Water in French)

Noah   (means Rest/Comfort in Hebrew)

James

Ian- (means God is Gracious)

Middle:

James (after Jon’s Father)

Emmet (after my PawPaw)

Dylan

Gray

It’s A BOY!!!!

Jon and I had our 20 week appointment yesterday and received such a wonderful, shocking surprise

It is a Boy!!!!

Highlights of the visit:

1. The wonderful shocking news that he was a BOY when we have been thinking girl.

2. The ultrasound tech laughing because our baby boy kept “showing off his goods”

3. Him sucking his thumb at one point during the ultrasound (too cute!)

4. Him yawning

5. Him holding his feet with his precious little hands

We are so blessed to have a healthy boy growing inside me. I am in a state of euphoria when I feel him moving around.  It is the best feeling every!!!

Here are some stats: HR 157 current weight 14oz (larger than average at this point of gestation-  Jon was 9lbs 15oz at birth so I am getting nervous about that)

Talked with Dr. Cole and the decision was made to stay off work and on bed rest until 30 weeks gestation until we know that everything would be fine with the baby if I were to deliver. I will return to work then for 2 months and then off for another 2 months with the precious boy.  If something were to happen and I went into labor at work there is not much that she could do at this point in my pregnancy and the baby would not be viable.  She thinks we should play it safe and we totally agree.  Nothing is worth loosing this perfect blessing!

Sweet Brooklyn

Spent some time with Kim.  Brooke was not into me taking any pics but Kim managed to get a couple awesome pics. I have been playing with the settings on the camera and Kim was snapping away and got some cool ones! GO KIM

Brooklyn’s hair is such a pretty blonde color and looked amazing with the sun hitting it! She is so beautiful.  Ben & Kim did a wonderful job. They are great baby makers

All was well at the Dr. Appointment and the spotting/bleeding had stopped. Dr. Cole gave me the ok to go back to work.  Went to work for 1 week and all was well until Aug. 25th when I started bleeding at work.  Guess what?  BED REST orders again and no work.

Boy or Girl???

Jon had a dream right before we got pregnant that we had a baby girl and that it was “long”. That is all he remembered from the dream.  :)

Jon and I did the intelleGender test and it said GIRL!

It is suppose to be 90 % accurate in clinical studies and 82% accurate in at home studies.

Kim’s Baby Shower for Brinley

Kim was 30 weeks along.  It was the perfect time to have a baby shower for Brinlely.  Lots of people showed to celebrate and we all had a wonderful time.

I got the girls matching dresses and Jakob a green t-shirt. too cute

On July 29th I had a 12 week 6 day ultrasound b/c of some more bleeding.  EVERYTHING LOOKED GREAT!!! PRAISE GOD!  The tech said she could have probably told us the sex of the baby but the baby was not cooperating
