My Bathroom Project

I have painted our guest bathroom three or four times in the last two years…… I can not find a color that I love….. So, my new project was to try to lighten the room so I did not have to re-paint again…  I decided it needed lots of white.  I need to put a “splash of color” but don’t know what color and where to put it….. any ideas?

I borrowed Ben’s miter saw and cut 45 degree angles to make a new mirror frame.  It was harder than I thought and cut two pieces of wood in the wrong directions.. silly me… anyway, for my 1st project I think it turned out pretty well.

I also bought another shower rod and placed it up by the ceiling and found some sheer curtains to bring the eyes up and make the room look a little larger.  I used one of my necklaces that broke as tie backs for the curtains.  I had fun with this project but know I soon want to see another color in the room….

The color of the bathroom is Golden Light by Ralph.           What can I do to lighten up the room?

One more Bedroom update…

Things are changing a bit and I thought I would post what I changed in the bedroom.  Kim and Mom have not been over to see it so I know you will check this blog… Jon and I used to have 100 pillows on the bed but it gets old taking them off each night. Does it look weird with just one little one?  I may have to find some more ;0  Do you like how I painted the middle vase green to tie in the green from the bathroom? It was fun.   We might get some bigger lamps down the road but Jon and I enjoy these b/c all you have to do is touch them and they turn on! Thanks MOM! (you got me one in college and Jon and I found the exact same one a couple of years later at Home Depot
